Congratulations to Annabelle Juma and Nicolette Robertson, our 2026–2027 FEI interns!

The Knoxville Chapter of Financial Executives International and the Tennessee Investment Group are pleased to welcome this year’s selected student interns.

Annabelle Juma

2026–2027 FEI Intern

Annabelle is an Accounting and Finance student in Haslam Honors. She brings international finance experience from Weave Living in Tokyo and is active in the Haslam Women in Color Finance Committee, NABA, the African Student Association, and Alpha Kappa Psi. Her service and leadership experience will be a strong asset to the Knoxville FEI chapter.

Nicolette Robertson

2026–2027 FEI Intern

Nicolette is a Finance major with an International Business collateral. Her experience includes sales and marketing support at an insurance brokerage, using Excel and CRM tools for prospect research, client engagement, presentations, and product analysis. She is active in Women in Finance, Zeta Tau Alpha, and other campus organizations.

Want to strengthen your résumé, meet senior executives, and gain valuable professional experience?
The Knoxville Chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI) will select two Haslam College undergraduates to serve as its interns for the 2026-2027 academic year. Students from all majors are welcome to apply, although finance and accounting majors are strongly encouraged.

About FEI
Financial Executives International is a professional association for senior-level financial leaders. Members of the Knoxville Chapter include CFOs, controllers, treasurers, finance directors, and other executives from prominent companies and professional-services firms throughout the region.

How to Apply
Applications for the 2027–2028 FEI internship will be submitted through the Google Form below when the application period reopens.

Applicants will be asked to share their LinkedIn profile, upload a current résumé, and provide an original supporting statement to the FEI Board explaining why they should be selected. The form should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

The FEI Board of Directors will review applications and make the final selection.

Intern Responsibilities
The selected intern will assist with FEI events throughout the fall and spring semesters. Responsibilities may include:

• Greeting FEI members and guests
• Assisting with event setup and coordination
• Introducing guest speakers
• Taking photographs and helping with social media
• Networking with senior finance professionals
• Confirming attendance with the FEI chapter each month

The intern must communicate promptly if an academic or scheduling conflict arises.

Meeting Information
Most chapter meetings are held at:

• Bridgewater Place, 205 Bridgewater Road, Knoxville, TN 37923

Interns should arrive between 3:30 and 3:45 PM. Regular meetings conclude at approximately 6:00 PM.
Because travel time from campus should be considered, applicants must review the complete schedule before applying. DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU ARE TAKING A TR AFTERNOON OR EVENING COURSE. Attendance is expected during both the fall and spring semesters. Also, do not apply if you plan to study abroad during the 2026-2027 academic year.
