This fall, the Finance Executives International (FEI) local Knoxville chapter will select 2 undergraduate college of business students as FEI Interns for the academic year. Any major can apply, but finance and accounting majors are strongly encouraged!
WHO IS IN FEI? Senior-level CFOs and Controllers from: SageView Advisory Group, Jewelry Television, Radio Systems Corp, Kimberly Clark Corp., Alcoa, Bush Brothers & Co., The Trust Company, Rather & Kittrell, Regions Bank, Truist Bank, Clayton Bank & Trust, Ruby Tuesdays, Regal Entertainment, Mastercraft Boat Co., and Bank of America, in addition to many other local finance, accounting, and investment firms.
HOW TO APPLY Internships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement. Email your resume and an introduction (who you are) and why you would be a good intern (sell yourself!) to Dr. Cole at lscole@utk.edu by Friday, September 2.
WHAT DO FEI INTERNS DO? FEI Interns are required to attend all the monthly events listed below. They will assist in greeting members, introducing speakers, and interacting/networking with senior-level executives.
WHEN ARE MEETINGS? Monthly dinner speaker meetings are (generally) held on Tuesday evenings at Bridgewater Place (205 Bridgewater Road, Knoxville TN 37923). Interns will arrive no later than 3:30 PM to set-up, and meetings conclude at 6 PM. Dinner is included for interns.
Interns must be able to attend Tuesday evening events for both Fall & Spring semesters.
