UTIG MEMBERSHIP PROCESS

Membership is open to all academic levels and majors—any currently enrolled UT undergraduate or graduate student can join UTIG.

To become a member, simply select the PAY button above or below. No additional application is required—your payment confirms your membership for the semester.

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

  • Cost: $50 per semester (BULL Membership).
  • Eligibility: Open to all UT students, regardless of major or academic year.

WHAT YOUR MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES

  • Investment Insights Workshops: Hands-on sessions led by UTIG officers where you learn professional-level research techniques, trading strategies, and Bloomberg software navigation.
  • Bloomberg Battle: A one-night, high-speed competition testing your ability to navigate Bloomberg, analyze data, and interpret market information under time pressure.
  • Wolf of Wall Street Trading Competition: A semester-long simulation where you manage a virtual $100,000 portfolio of stocks, options, ETFs, crypto, and forex in real-time, applying research skills for a chance to win cash prizes.
  • Prizes and Networking: Compete for over $500 in prizes and connect with peers and finance professionals.

PARTICIPATION

Attendance at workshops, meetings, or competitions is optional—but strongly encouraged to make the most of your membership.
